✔ WHAT TO DO
Assess Conditions First
Before approaching, check if ice, flooding, high winds, or severe conditions make the stop unsafe to attempt.
Contact Customer BEFORE Selecting RTS
Call and ring 12 seconds. If no answer, send a text. Do this BEFORE selecting the RTS code.
Or Call Driver Support
If customer is unlisted/disconnected, you feel unsafe contacting them, or it's between 8PM–8AM — call Driver Support instead.
Then Select Bad Weather RTS
After contact attempt, select the Bad Weather code in the app. The app will immediately prompt a POND photo.
Take the POND Photo
Photograph the condition preventing delivery — flooding, snow, downed trees. Take from inside the vehicle if unsafe to exit. Use "Unable to Take Photo" if necessary.
Drive Defensively Back
Slow down, increase following distance, and report road hazards to Driver Support. Your safety always comes first.

✖ WHAT NOT TO DO
Don't Attempt Unsafe Deliveries
Never walk icy paths, cross flooded areas, or approach locations that are hazardous due to weather conditions.
Don't Skip Contact Compliance
Skipping the call and text means no exemption. Always attempt contact before selecting Bad Weather RTS.
Don't Call Customers at Night
Between 8PM and 8AM, contact Driver Support only. Do not call or text the customer regardless of conditions.
Don't Misuse the Code
Bad Weather applies only when conditions at the specific stop are unsafe — not for general weather or road issues elsewhere.
Don't Drive Recklessly
Slow down and increase following distance in bad weather. Accidents on route are reviewed and can affect your standing.
Don't Skip the POND Photo
The photo documents the condition. If you can't safely take it, use "Unable to Take Photo" — don't just skip it.
